Fragment: Asking for passport straight away?

Hi guys,

I set up an account with Fragment and was hoping to trade usernames. Before I have deposited or withdrawn a penny they are asking me to send my passport to them. I am extremely reluctant to do this.

Any advice on what do to? Do all sites have this level of security?

Absolutely massive and I won't be doing it especially as I have no money in there.

I have already explored it and from my country they only accept a passport. Tried sending driving licence which they wouldn't take

The idea of buying and selling usernames is interesting but you should think outside the box

Consider -

Along with the username, create an LLC, Brand name, Website, Custom products, like a fashion line
of Print on Demand Clothes, Trademark the brand name, get the brand certified on Amazon
and build it up as a drop shipping business

See how much they sell for on Flippa or one of the general "business for sale" sites

Websites are common on Flippa

But not with the things I just listed

And advertised on a "business for sale" website in some place that HAS MONEY FLOATING AROUND
like Las Vegas it should sell very quickly

Businesses commonly sell for 3 times their yearly revenue. $1000 a month sites easily sells for $35,000

Do all the things in the list I supplied, I would ask $100,000. The Trademark registered with Amazon
makes it worth it

All sites do not require that much. But if you plan to do large transactions on any platform, you will have to send them kyc whenever they require it.
