ChatGPT doesn't continuously learn from the live internet in real-time. It has a knowledge cutoff date (currently September 2021, though that will change as models are updated). It can't access and process new articles on the fly to immediately incorporate that knowledge into its responses.

I’ve wondered about this too and tried a few things with my own Shopify store’s articles. From what I’ve seen, even if Google or Bing indexes your page quickly, that doesn’t always mean ChatGPT or other LLMs will “know” your content right away, since they don’t pull in updates as fast and work off data snapshots. I’ve also tried giving ChatGPT my URL and asking it questions, sometimes it recognizes the content, sometimes not, especially if the page was published after their last update. It’s definitely not the same as tracking with Search Console.
