What would you recommend for side hustle?

So, I’ve got a little dilemma I’d love your thoughts on. Recently, I came across someone who’s absolutely killing it in both affiliate marketing and dropshipping. Seriously, she’s making bank with both! But here’s the thing—I can only pick one to focus on because, well, I’ve already got a main gig taking up most of my time.
Now, I know the “right” choice depends on my current situation, goals, and all that jazz, but I’d still love to hear your take. If you had to choose between affiliate marketing and dropshipping as a side hustle, which one would you go for?
I’m especially curious about the benefits of each and how easy (or not) they are to get started with. Any advice, tips, or “I wish I knew this earlier” moments would be amazing!

I won't choose either of them. I refuse to believe that affiliate marketing and dropshipping still works for a majority of those that do everything which is necessary/ required/ needed. Just Google around a bit and you yourself will fine how much the quality of SERPs has gone down. And if you think you can run ads and do these things, well, that doesn't seem probable as well.

I would take any of those and try to think aggressively out of the box.

QR codes/links posted on stickers in the back of the bus (or poles next to pedestrian crossing) level type of thinking.

Regular marketing still works but it's becoming more expensive and harder for people who just started to get positive ROI.

So if you want to dropship, choose one specific product, and think how could you get targeted audience read your ad but avoiding paid ads or dumb spam.

Pretty much the same applies to affiliate products.

random idea for onlyfans growth: hire random people to print a small text "wow I do love guys driving a car like yours. xoxo, - instagramname" and then ask them to go around and place them behind wiper blades.

yes, it will do cost more than just try to automate Instagram or whatever. but CR will be insane.

No, QR code was an example, have to agree not a very good one. Instagram handles, domain names, or phone numbers will work better. Those I have tried, yes.

Depending on your offer and geo, adult dating CPA will convert everywhere, even from random passerby. Luxury car brand ad? not so much. I'm thinking t1/t2 countries here.

My point isn't about exact method but the change of thinking required to succeed nowadays when the average person is tired of being bombarded with ads and spam

Affiliate marketing is much faster to set up. Really what you should focus on is traffic - How she is getting traffic to her site and if you are able to replicate this.

That is the thing with these 2 things, not everyone's going to make it. Specially those who jump in seeing others' success. I'd advise against dropshipping. You can give affiliate marketing a try though.

If you're tight on time, go with affiliate marketing. Less moving parts, no customer support, no inventory. You focus on content and traffic, and the rest is handled by someone else. Dropshipping can be profitable, but it’s more hands-on. If you want something easier to manage on the side, affiliate wins. If neither clicks, consider info productslow cost, scalable, and fully yours.

Tried both — if you’ve got limited time, I’d go with affiliate marketing. Less moving parts, no customer support, and you can build it up slowly. On the contrary, dropshipping can make money faster but needs more daily attention. I wish I’d focused on one thing earlier instead of juggling both. Affiliate is more chill for a side hustle.

unless you are working with someone else then affiliate marketing or creating a digital product. dropshipping is much more work.

Honestly? Ebay reselling. A goldmine if done right. You are your own boss. Can do it anytime.

I would go with football trading on Betfair or orbit exchange. You can make money daily with this.

No looking for buyers or traffic. Everything is there already. You just need to know how the bet exchange works and you can do this every day as there is a football game in one of part of the world in a day.
