In this case, I don’t think it’s an anti-bot mechanism. These are two difficult subs that I believe require karma and account age to post. How old are your accounts?

both of those subs are high traffic subs, so mods have filters and moniter it like a hawk, its also due to the month of the election, where they had inappropiate posts being posted en masse and ever since they have aggressively stopped spamming. they have auto-delete comment bot for those subs, for new users. some smaller subreddits, are close to "unmoderated"
