PBN ?

Hi

I have a "little" break in link building in my career but found something what may looks as some kind of technique to gain really nice traffic, I already fond it on many websites of my clients I have build a webshop for and then "agency" start build a ranks for them. Could you please tell me what it is ?
It looks like someone build a PBN on expiried domains recovered the webpage from webarchive and upload hundreds of thousand html files to the images of webshops . Do you think they did that manually or there are some kind of services around offer such service I mean link exchange system where I can upload URLS of lets say 1000 product images from my webshop and configure campaign to build such html sites on external PBNs to rank for the product keywords in google ?

Every webshop I have checked gaining really decent traffic and 99% of backlinks comes from that kind of places (html pages directly to images of the webshop) did I missed something in case of link building used these days ? ((( the main domains are completely unrelated to the webshop of my client relative was that html subpages. Most of the pages (I mean root domains) on Wordpress so it is PHP script, but mostly they have indexed thousands of such "html" pages too and it looks like a link farms. Can you help me to figurea out is is common technique of gaining traffic from Google thses days to webshops ?

The pattern if automated like that is probably dangerous, but the process in structure is sound. It should be less detectable if done more slowly, or delegated to freelancers building the PBN, content and links manually.

Yeah, that makes sense! A more gradual and manual approach could definitely help keep it under the radar and make the links appear more natural. As long as the content and structure are well-executed, it could still be an effective strategy without drawing too much attention.
