omnihuman - Bigger Than Deepseek Coming

I hope so, I'm glad to see several high quality AI tools being launched, so we don't need to keep paying for just one expensive tool xD

In a few years, the majority of both "human" and animated videos online will be generated through AI. The demo videos look really good and there will be a ton of legit and scammy ways to make a ton of money using them.

Seems interesting, great to see another tool being created, let's see if it will be as good as DeepSeek or ChatGPT

Have you seen the deepfake featuring several actors blasting kanye west? If you didn't know it's a fake you would think it's real. Scarlett Johansson is already calling for a ban on deepfakes.

That project looks super interesting, can't wait to test it! What stands out to me is how they’re tackling the challenge of high-quality, animatable digital humans with just monocular video input. That’s a big deal because most high-end 3d human modeling still requires multi-camera setups or expensive motion capture systems. If they can make this efficient and accessible, it could be huge for gaming, virtual reality, and even digital influencers.

I’d be curious to see how well it performs in real-world applications. Does it generalize well across different body types and clothing? How smooth is the motion when applied to real-time animation? If they nail those aspects, this could be a game-changer.
