How to Set Up a LLC in USA for Non-Residents + US Bank Account (all sources shared)

Indeed the price is really too high. Has anyone found a cheaper alternative?

Since 2024 they started to require the LLC members to be located in the US.
However, I recently saw some "coaching commercials" who offer a service for $4000 including an address.

First I start my my name as single entrepreneur and virtual address, later when I have a few clients I will setup an UK company (Ltd) you can have the additional company/corporation in your name like myname company Ltd. For the LTD I use my personal name too.
So the UK company has the same personal name then my domain, clap two flies with one stone or something...
I think the most US clients knowing what an Ltd company is. A Ltd is easier for me to handle than a US Corporation, often you will get a UK business bank asccount from serious agencies/ lawyers where you found your Ltd company, so as european I not must travel to London first to open bank account.
Bank account: or start with payoneer or wise, they not have these fascism geotarget restrictions like paypal, means you can travel and login to your bank account, no matter in which country you are (exceptions banned countries) with paypal you can not do that. Then later I will open UK business bank account, US clients can send my fees or with online payment with credit cards).
Often with UK companies the same ripoff; international clients also clients who not have UK residency must buy for internat. package which will cost serveral hundreds of Euros/Dollars more, what a scam ripoff, the paperwork is the same !
And when you make good profit every year, you can saving money to an irish Holding (cheap) who will protect your assets from creditors !
Germany creditors can not make an account garnishment over my UK business account which is in the name of a third person "the company" or neither on my private UK bank account, or irish account (the government laws protects me here) so I can build up new credit score in UK within 1-2 years.

Just pay them the base and negotiate for the cost of setting up the bank account
This person states a flat rate and does not want another $600 for the bank account.

Yes in some case shave a nominee so that you can be anonymous make sense, but in this scenario not use a Ltd formation agency-no- use a lawyer to setup the Ltd company, because the lawyer makes it so that the nominee can't steal the money form your bank account !

1. Since it seems you are a German citizen who lives in Germany: Nothing of what you described will work for you. Germany will consider all foreign companies you own and run as being a resident company in Germany which will be liable to German taxation.
2. Paypal has a different license and is bound to what the government tell them, so it's not their choice to geo restrict features.
3. You can not open a bank account in a non-EMI bank in the UK without being a UK resident.

I am struggling to find a way to open a bank account with an address in the US.
Since the price for the nominees directors is relatively high, I am afraid to get scammed.
Do I have to change the LLC declaration for this?
Any ideas on how I can split the process into steps and reduce the risk to get scammed?

The EIN is $25, find someone on Fiverr, it took 3 days to complete.
I am about to close all my LLC activities. I still have hope - but a very tiny.
I just wanted to share my experience here since this forum helped me to address several issues in a good way.
The main reason to close everything:
- I found no way to open a business bank account from abroad. Banks got super suspicious and they ban the application after one login with a foreign IP
- also opening the bank account in US doesn't guarantee that the data stays private there. Since in Europe (especially Germany) having a "undeclared" LLC is a crime since 2024, the impact of any data leakage is huge
- even with a bank account, assuming running 100% tax transparency, the implications on the tax declaration are bad. Not just because of the unclear laws, but also because the tax admins are confused. And if they are confused they simply try to get 5x from you and clarify questions later - if necessary .
I still have hope to find someone who can open a bank account in the US but I tried already 2 supporting services from Fiverr and they failed.
