I hired MKSKS to upgrade two websites to the latest version of PHP, make them mobile responsive and also add a couple of additional features.
The seller gave me a TAT of 3 weeks and I paid the upfront agreed deposit on November 28th ref -

Now it is 8 weeks since this date and seller has not delivered and is no longer responding, has not been online since 2nd jan 2025 (3 weeks).

Information For The Accused

@MKSKS - you have 24 hours to respond to this disputes thread. This one really feels weird. I hope everything is fine with him too. I've known him for years through BHW. Although he wasn't as active last year compared to before, I feel like he contributed a lot.

I have had many customers who have been scammed repeatedly by the developer. And even after they paid, they were blocked or they are not responding. I have had many customers like this.
Customers have been scammed out of thousands of USD

and I have had customers who ordered me for work and completed 50% payment then I completed the work and I couldn't find them for months and they never contacted me again.
Due to the cheating and unprofessional work of some sellers, now we are not getting the right sales. This is because of some bad people.

Those who cheat need to be severely banded and not allowed to work in any marketplace in the future.

I’m assuming the same and I hope things are ok for him. It doesn’t seem like he would have intended to scam me; doesn’t seem worth it.

But I felt like I had to follow the standard procedure just to put some closure to the transaction.

I do hope he’s ok.

Something happened to this user ......... Hope all is well & still have little hope , he comes back oneday with a Story as well as refund davids Money. (Not sure, just sharing my thoughts)

I would have done the same.
He handled his first dispute very professionally, and I believe he has a reason to not respond to this one. I just hope it's not too good of a reason.
