Hey everyone, today I finally have some time to write down the tasks I’ve been doing, so you can take a look and maybe apply some of them to your business. I’ve been running this strategy since 2021, so some things might be outdated, but feel free to reference them.
If you need a detailed marketing plan, I can share it in the comments. But for now, I'll focus on how I utilized different channels to drive traffic.
BACKGROUND
I was originally in the fashion industry, but one day, I was assigned to run a spa business. With no prior experience in the field, I spent a few months learning the ropes, setting up operations, and implementing marketing strategies. Now, I want to share my spa marketing approach with you and see if you can apply anything to your own business.If you need a detailed marketing plan, I can share it in the comments. But for now, I'll focus on how I utilized different channels to drive traffic.
MARKETING EXECUTION
1. Facebook – My Main Strength
I focused on niche Facebook channels and executed the following:- Fanpage Strategy: I created one main fanpage and 20 satellite pages.
- The reason for multiple pages? Spa and beauty-related pages get banned frequently, so I always keep backups.
- All secondary pages direct traffic to the main page by optimizing page info, automatic replies, and keyword targeting.
- Content teams manage the pages, and I use tools to auto-post across all pages. If one page gets banned, I use another.
- There's also a way to run ads directing messages to the main page.
- Facebook Ads:
- I’ve shared some ad templates and content strategies before—check them out.
- Since ad accounts and pages get restricted constantly, you need to be smart with content moderation to avoid bans.
- Facebook Reels – A Key Traffic Source
- When Reels started trending, I leveraged 20+ pages to mass-post Reels, ensuring they got recommended.
- I created content calendars and had my team manually post videos.
- At peak, I managed Reels for 100 pages simultaneously—I'll write a detailed guide on how to manage that later.
- Chatbot & Customer Engagement
- Automated messaging was key. I used auto-inbox tools to send messages constantly.
- Every weekend, we blasted mini-games, promotions, or follow-up messages.
- A structured messaging plan is crucial to keep it effective without becoming spammy.
- Marketplace Strategy
- Facebook Marketplace used to be strong but has become saturated.
- I used automation tools with 10–20 accounts, posting hundreds of listings daily.
- After a week, searching for spa-related keywords on Facebook would surface my business.
- Facebook Groups – A Long-Term Funnel
- I built 5–10 groups targeting different niche keywords (e.g., local spa communities, job seekers, beauty tips).
- Phase 1: Foundation Building
- Created groups, optimized settings, and boosted initial members to 10k.
- Used bot accounts to scrape content from other groups and repost.
- Simulated engagement with fake interactions to make groups look active.
- Phase 2: Funnel Growth
- Linked groups with fanpages.
- Used auto-invites and friend requests from fake accounts.
- Ran mini-games, sent direct messages, and had sales teams invite prospects.
2. Website & SEO
- Similar to other industries, but I bought Top 5 domain rankings for early SEO leverage.
- Ran light Google Ads, but not as aggressively as Facebook.
- Focused on landing pages for different customer segments (skin consultations, scar treatments, etc.).
3. TikTok Strategy
- Didn’t push TikTok too hard.
- Primarily booked KOLs, ran ads, and boosted views for sales-driven content.
FINAL THOUGHTS
This is a multi-channel marketing approach that worked for me. I hope some of these ideas help you in your business! Again, since I started this in 2021, some strategies may need updating, so use this as a reference and adapt accordingly.
