Free movie streaming site

I want to build a website that people can stream movies for free like 1hd.to how do I do it?

I know nothing about this and everything written here is just speculation.

Most streaming sites are probably just using other streaming site's movies. Meaning they just proxy everything from other providers.
And to minimize risk in the case of legal action taken against you, you should ensure you're not downloading nor serving movies directly.

If you want to make your own platform, just programmatically scrape existing streaming sites to build up a library. Then just make a search bar, and serve the embed. Done.

Ones like; DooPlay, PsyPlay, wp-stream, streamvid, honestly envato market has a load of them, festingervault used to have them too.

You can also use services like vidscr to basically "get" all the movies and shows all already loaded and ready to stream, just embed them onto your site (the price is they play a popup or two)

Edit the video-page php file in the theme files, to the vidscr url, all of these providers use imdb or moviedb for the codes, so all movies/shows will be the same. From what I recall dooplay/psyplay was in spanish, so whatever "video-page" or "single-video" is in spanish, the file should be called. Just the dynamic embed URL has to be changed.

thank you soo much, what i did was get an already embeded theme code and then used an IDE to open the script and search for the api address and replace with mine

Those are the only ones I used in my experience, go take a look at the competitors try to inspect their player and see where its coming from. Should be a bunch of services.

Look for laravel scripts, wordpress will clog up eventually if you get a lot of visitors.
