Best time to bump the sales thread

I've got a sales thread running and I'm looking for some promotion tips.

Specifically:

• What's the best time to bump my thread for maximum visibility?
• Any advice on getting more organic exposure? What works best here?

After a decade plus of selling on BHW marketplace, I don't think it matters a great deal these days. It used to be awesome when people posted in the thread but that doesn't bump it anymore so within minutes you are off the front page of the site and if you don't have a sticky you won't be noticeable in your category much at all. Maybe it makes more of a difference in other subs but it has made very little difference to my sales recently.

I could go on but I don't think this is the right place for ideas on what would improve the forum these days.

I’d say if people are genuinely interested in your sales thread, they’ll find you by searching through multiple threads. Your job is to simply give them an irresistible offer.

Follow @back2form's advice; it's a good one. Due to high competition in sales, it's hard to get a thread to stick in 30 minutes, especially in the marketplace section. Why don't you try a Sticky?

Why not try different times of the day and see which one got you the most traction?!

A bump with some sort of update or review of your services would probably be ideal.

Much better than saying 'Bump" for the sake of it.

Most of the business purchases happen in the morning for me. Go to similarweb, see the top most country for visitors and try bumping during their morning hours.

This is the biggest thing for me. It is a shame to visit a BST and see that the last few pages (or maybe all of the pages in some cases) is just bump posts with nothing added. It's not always easy to think up something to announce or offer but every seller should have some "go to" posts that are used for posting.

Don't just write Bump all of the time, it can make it look like your service is unpopular and less desirable.

Not all countries have morning at same time..

Example:-

Now, it's Morning , Time 8.35 Am in India. But
Time 10.00 pm in Washington, DC, USA

9:01 pmChicago (GMT-6)
8:01 pmPhoenix (GMT-7)
7:01 pmLos Angeles (GMT-8)
6:01 pmAnchorage (GMT-9)
5:01 pmHonolulu (GMT-10)

I do agree, morning is best time to bump, but need to make sure with the country as well..

If most of the clients were from USA then USA morning

Since 80% of the traffic are from USA, its wise to bump sales thread on USA working hours.
