Either way, it's all in the prompt. You can define the personality of the person you want writing it, and depending on how good the model is, the output can be excellent.

These are great three cents, I like to play around with the complexity, unpredictability, perplexity, burstiness, and readability when using a prompt since those words usually help generate better content.

Anyway, I usually do this whenever I use AI AI-generated content (I mostly write from the top of my head now + minimal AI help):

1. Generate the article and rewrite it yourself.
2. Avoid complex synonyms.
3. Avoid repetitiveness.
4. Avoid gibberish or filler content, like don't make paragraph larger with useless stuff.
5. Don't write huge blocks of content, separate them properly.
6. Make the readability good, easier and shorter sentences, etc (use tools like Hemingway Editor, but use it wisely).
7. Grammarly at ALL times, sometimes their sentence corrections for clarity make AI content more human.
8. Use a casual or conversational tone.
9. Try a paraphrasing tool, a good one (Grammarly works fine but there are a ton of others).
10. Use Humanize tools, but keep in mind that some of those tools have horrible grammar but it's "easy" to fix.
11. Move away from common AI tools and use dedicated AI writing tools like Frase or Jasper, there's a study that compares AI-generated content and different AI detection tools and it has a weight in this matter.

Now, there are some "tricks" that reduce AI-generated content that works well if used right like using the em dash (—), replacing and for &, capitalizing the i (replace some i for I, I don't why, found it on Reddit and don't know if the poster was trolling but have worked for me).

Another "trick" is, if you speak Spanish and English (or any other language than Spanish), ask for an article in Spanish (prompt in Spanish too, that usually works better than just saying "make it Spanish") and rewrite while translating it YOURSELF.

Writing everything automatically is good enough for me, you just need to give rules how to create the text.

E.g. I took the rules above, rewrote them a little and let it run over an ai generated text and was happy with the result.

Now rewrite the article using the following rules:
Avoid complex synonyms.
Avoid repetitiveness.
Avoid gibberish or filler content, like don't make paragraph larger with useless stuff.
Don't write huge blocks of content, separate them properly.
Make the readability good, easier and shorter sentences.
Make content more human.
Use a casual or conversational tone.
