Hi all - I'm new to this kinda thing, and to BHW

Just wondering if someone is able to point me in the right direction to learn how to make money online.

This website is amazing, but there is so much useful info here, I have no clue where to start.

I am South African, and an IT Technician, and enjoy pushing the boundaries with technology.

Just need a few suggestions, and what works.
I should be able to go from there.


I'm also weary of potential scammers - that just want to lure people in, but not prepared to anything else.

Its very unlickley your going to get someone posting here, that's going to direct your purpose all suddenly in that venture. You need to be ready on the internet to find the opportunities yourself.

Don't be sitting around waiting for that one opportunity to get going like you already are now. Making money is easier before as the number of quitters and half-arsed workers keeps going up every year.

This is where the money making methods are posted. Congratulations though, you just added to the bonanza of people that ask EVERY WEEK, and I do mean EVERY WEEK, "How I make money just recommend me something"

Go form a research department, and work in there for 6 months. Learn the business inside out, then fire your guns.

BHW is a goldmine of info! Start small, test things out, and avoid anything that promises ‘easy money.’ What are you most interested in: freelancing, e-commerce, or something else?

Hey, welcome to BHW! If you're tech-savvy, I'd kick things off on freelancing sites like Upwork or Fiverr. There are plenty of legit IT and tech gigs that pay decently. You could also consider remote IT support or consulting, which leverages your current skills and usually commands better rates internationally.

Another route is content creation. Think YouTube or blogging about tech tips or reviews. Build an audience and you can monetize via affiliate links or ads. Just steer clear of any "get rich quick" schemes; stick to well-known platforms and do your homework before diving into any opportunity.

Start with make money section where you have pasted this. Sort by views or replies to fund best threads. Also give preference to recent threads. This will ensure that you do not waste time on outdated methods.

Welcome to BHW! Since you're in IT, check out freelancing or affiliate marketing—start with the "Make Money" section for legit guides. Avoid DMs promising easy money.

Pick any method as per your interest. Give it few months. If it does not work, try other methods. There are so many methods shared on BHW already.
