Hi. I run an agency, and I am really looking to get into Reddit as the results can be quite amazing if done well, but upvote botting have been a bit of an issue so far.
We have good account suppliers and a good warm-up strategy and generally don't have to deal with bans. Then we tested an upvote bot that is of high quality, but the account was suspended after 4 days or so.
I'm very much certain that this ban occurred due to this account being rather new and only having a couple thousand karma points. We also abused the upvote bot a bit. We bought like 20 upvotes at a speed of 12 upvotes per hour. We made a lot of variation. Some had 14 upvotes, some had 25 upvotes. Varying speeds as well. Almost every upvoted post was flagged by Reddit's system after 4 days, even the ones with 10 upvotes.
I know it's possible to abuse upvote bots quite a lot without getting banned, but it seems this requires a decently established account, and of course some knowledge on when to use the bot and how many upvotes to buy, and at what speed. So, do you have any tips you're willing to share about upvote botting, and when accounts are generally ready for it? When does Reddit's system stop being so suspicious of an account? Thank you!
