Hey guys im just intrested in you opinion really, yesterday i clicked on create an advert for my page its only a fun page but i want to get it big so i can start selling status updates, an hope use cpa survey on it, but when i clicked on the advert it said it would reach nearly 30 million people? so do you think its worth investing in? Any opinions would be great guys or tip or anything, im just struggling to get a lot of fans its starting to frustrate me now, cheers.

Thirty million people could actually be a bad thing if you have not received this number after targeting your campaign. My suggestion to you is that you choose the appropriate demographics, settings, etc. within your campaign and after doing so you will have a much smaller audience for your ad, but it will be much more targeted.

huge waste of money. Only big companies with deep pockets should advertise on facebook.

I've tried facebook for a few of my CPA websites, the results were less then great.

But if youre really set on facebook you need to set your demographics to your target audience! And rotate different ads in order to find the best converting set ups.
 
not true. ive found a lot of profitable campaigns, you just have to think outside the box. a little tip is to put your ads up at certain times. i would get like 3,000 clicks in one hour so you have to choose the most profitable time

I agree. There is definitely money to be made with FB Ads. However, just like Google AdWords, it is not going to be easy and there are various tips and tricks to get the most out of your campaign.
