I have an Instagram and YouTube account focused on travel content, and I’ve been posting reels that I created myself. However, the algorithm hasn’t been working in my favor; I’ve only been getting 2 to 3 views on my posts for over a month now.

I partnered with a company in my niche that offers a wide range of promotional assets, and I’ve been sharing these assets despite not receiving many views. I haven’t started posting on YouTube yet because I want to make sure I’m on the right track.

I’m also using Pinterest for promotion, but I’m unsure what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone suggest a strategy or guide to help me?

Not sure about your niche, but there's a general rule of thumb: keep creating content consistently until one reel, short, or video goes viral.

This happened to me with my own business—when I first started posting, I uploaded just one long video a day for the first month. Then I switched to posting one long video and two shorts a day. At first, I was getting only 5-10 views per video, but then one short hit 20k views and brought in a few hundred subscribers.

So, just keep creating content! You never know when one will take off.

Hi Bhavapriyan,

It sounds like you’re really dedicated to your travel content, and it’s great that you’ve partnered with a company in your niche! Here are a few suggestions that might help boost your views:

  1. Engagement First: Focus on engaging with your audience by responding to comments and interacting with similar accounts. Building community can help increase visibility.
  2. Optimize Your Hashtags: Use a mix of popular and niche-specific hashtags to reach a broader audience while still targeting your ideal viewers.
  3. Consistent Posting Schedule: Make a content calendar to post consistently. This can help keep your audience engaged and improve algorithm favorability.
  4. Shorter, Engaging Reels: Consider creating shorter, more captivating reels that hook viewers in the first few seconds. Trends often perform better, so keep an eye on what's popular.
  5. YouTube Strategy: When you start posting on YouTube, focus on SEO-friendly titles and descriptions. Share your videos on other platforms to drive traffic.
  6. Pinterest Optimization: Make sure your pins are visually appealing and include keywords in the descriptions. Consider using rich pins for better engagement.

Have you tried any of these strategies yet? I’d love to hear what’s worked for you or any challenges you’re facing!

Best,
Albert Estine
