Ever been to Thailand?

I visited Thailand last year, and this is my absolute favorite shot from my time at Pattaya Beach, right near the Walking Street. Crazy people everywhere!

I visited pattaya and bangkok. Didn’t like Bangkok that much but pattaya really is very beautiful, atleast the sea beach. It’s like a fucking photo frame, i mean the beach.

But, I don’t really like the sex tourism that Pattaya is famous for. Sorry lol, I am a boring guy haha. I wish it was more “kid” friendly.

By the way, when you were in Walking Street, did you see that guy doing the cigarette show? He’s always there. My older brother went and saw him at the same spot, and when I went to the exact same place, he was there too. Just curious, did you happen to see him as well?

I would be honest Thailand is much better than that and gets a bad rep for wrong reasons. Pattaya is great, Phuket is like dreams (but at the same time not so much pocket friendly). Yeah the sex tourism and the ganja thing needs to stop lol.

To be honest i didn't get a chance to visit Phuket. Maybe this year.

Hmm i kw. It is sad that this is true. It is just a couple of hours away from where I live (by flight ofcourse) and I would love to take my family over there. This sex tourism is the reason why I have never bothered.

ps, do try Phuket next time. It will be costlier but I feel it is quieter and more peaceful.

Yeah, with family, Walking Street is definitely not the place to go. But there are plenty of beautiful beaches and island you could check out instead. Places like Jomtien Beach OR Krabi island.

Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of their food, but hey, I made it through!

Never went to Phuket, but planning my next trip to Thailand again, Will def. visit there as well.

Their food is an acquired taste. Once you like it, you will love it. For me my options are limited because of my vegetarian diet.

Phuket is nice. Bit more posh than Pattaya. Nice water activities.

I’d say if someone has no food restrictions, it’s definitely a good option for them. I remember in Pattaya, there were a lot of Indian restaurants, and after a night out in Walking Street, I had some veg biryani at one of those spots.

I avoid indian restaurants outside India; they tend to give me food poisoning every time

But yes, there are many.

I've visited Thailand three times, exploring Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, and Bangkok.

• Koh Samui: The Full Moon Party is definitely a highlight.
• Chiang Mai: Perfect for outdoor adventures.
• Phuket: Absolutely loved everything about it.
• Pattaya: Affordable yet enjoyable.
• Bangkok: A great place for shopping.

I miss those days so much—it's been five years since my last trip, and I’m longing to go back!
