I got inspired from another recent thread.
Let me be short and to the point. Read the end i have a question!
In my case I suffer heavily from procrastination, analysis paralysis.
If there is no deadline then it shouldn't be done mindset.
I work in bursts, big bursts in 1 day i get done a lot. But that's not how growth works.
But those days are rare and far away from each other.
I'm trying to implement the following :
1) To-do list (all the tasks you need done no matter how big or small)
2) Eisenhower Matrix (run the to-do list in the matrix)
- Urgent & Important: Do immediately.
- Important, Not Urgent: Schedule for later.
- Urgent, Not Important: Delegate to someone else.
- Not Urgent & Not Important: Eliminate.
3) Time blocking in 90 minute intervals.
Let's talk about Execution and Deadlines.
Even when making a cool little list, prioritizing and time blocking. I still fail to do what i said i will do. It's just uninteresting.
How do you guys impose mental deadlines in your brain???
If i don't have a monster chasing me i will not sprint.
I thought of myself as a very hard working individual back when i was working a job, the monster was the boss.
Then i launched my business. I needed to make money fast the monster was being homeless or going back to a job.
So i got the work done.
Later down the line i made a shitload of money and got comfortable. And let's say killed the financial monster chasing me.
Productivity went down... A LOT...
So tell me guys who were in my shoes and ARE NOT ANYMORE.
How did you do it?
(Don't tell me pomodoro)
