It's almost like i felt like an impostor when making my intro post.
Guys i make 100 trillion USD/week. You get the vibe?

A lot of big threads with big $ sign titles sound very good. Info wise, it just makes sense.
But how do you know who's actually who they say they are?
I'm asking because i genuinely get pissed at "gurus" that either sell something or just lie for the sake of delusional dopamine.

Am i in the wrong mindset? Am i using the website not in the way it's made to be used?

I'm here to learn, but as much as i value my own precious time, i despise reading a thread for 10 mins to later realise it either doesn't work (anymore) or is just complete BS.

Sry if i sound passive-agressive, i'm not.
Just a thought dump.

I am making over 80 million dollars a day and I dont brag with it. If you want i can give you the method for 28.99$.

- look at the kind of posts they are making. You can easily tell if someone's trying to be a GURU by a bit of analysis. If most of their content is technically very sparse and all you can see are $$ numbers and titles like "HOW I MAKE $XXXXX/day". It's very likely they are trying to be a guru.

I would just say that use your own judgement, if it betrays common sense, most likely it's a scam.

This is just how i use BHW, but I prefer staying away from the *money method* threads or books. I am not saying all of them are scams, just that the seller has more incentive into "convincing you that the method works", rather than proving that it does. Both are not the same.

I prefer reading and contributing technical content instead. People who are willing and have the grit to make money from the internet can make the methods themseleves if they have the technical know how.

On this forum at least, you can have a good impression on who is who they say they are and who is just some guy sharing a "success story". Some members here I trust a lot more than others, especially with the rankings on BHW.

Now obviously, this doesn't make you immune to suspicions. I think some high ranking members have been banned in the past for reasons most wrongdoers are banned.

What you should be doing is checking to see if first the information isn't overtly generalised (i.e. AI write ups or simple step-by-step guide). Then you should probably decipher what gaps need filling in, no one will tell you everything. It's like when affiliate marketers will just say "make channel, promote links and ggs" forgetting the most crucial building an audience for traffic. If you struggle to do so then maybe you don't have enough experience or the information is just wrong.

If someone’s selling you a “money-making method,” congratulations, you’re the product they’re using to make their money.

Now imagine Elon Musk sliding into your DMs like, “Hey fam, wanna know how I make millions a month? Just $49.99 to unlock my secret!”... That won't happen because people who earn serious money won't waste their time creating a guide, selling it, and ending up with a bunch of competitors.

The real money-makers are gatekeepers of information.

They would never, or rarely, divulge how they actually make their money!

Some people do make big bucks
A successful method doesn't always translate to similar or even success to multiple people...
Don't forget the famous insulting quote by George
Those who can’t do, teach
It's honestly somewhat to a degree pretty creditable.
While there is kindness in humans; the vast majority of humans are trash. (sorry eBook sellers; it's the truth)
If you're making a few million a year, a quarter or even a month... you wouldn't be sharing it around. At most, your "inner" inner circle. (yes, there a inner circle inside inner circles)
Thus, at the same time, eBooks in general aren't bad, I read quite a few, I am slowly reading one right now by another BHW member.
Some info contained are pretty unique, some are public but you may just have to dig around... research is a skill too you know...
At the end, it's just how much valuable it is to you & how much do you really already know of the subject matter.

At the end, my default outlook is most people are full of shit until I really really get to know them ;)
I done business with countless individuals, started (and still in) projects with countless individuals on BHW alone (let's forget my offline partners)
Some are questionable fucking little shits who I honestly wonder if they even graduated preschool
Others are fucking smart as fuck and make me look like a monkey
There are all kind of people everywhere, on and offline.
As you meet more and interact with more different people, it will be easier to judge people ;)

Spend 20% of your time reading whats going on on BHW, and 80% of the rest of the rest of the time working on methods you YOURSELF can figure out because you already have experience and imagination of the processes. Forget looking for golden methods. Just pick a site that pays you for content, and produce that content for the site to take a commission. Or if you have skills in software packages, create an ebook documenting guides. Your inventory of things you sell and promote is a mark of your experience. So many things to choose to do, pick a set of skills, and without abusing the platform you go on, give it your all, and after a while branch out. Soon you'll be talking a sharing new ideas here on bhw, as you see that most people are just waiting around for the 5 minute rich guide, instead of actually working on their own products and services, and promotion.

Genuine good reply, can i ask for the specifics of how you judge if a money making method works or not?

For example i run OFM been doing it since the beginning when u could post half an ankle with no proxy bot account and make 500$ per day, all the way to now where breathing too close to the screen will get ur traffic accts banned. I
know the game top to bottom, i can read smth OFM related and instantly know if it's BS or not.

But let's say i want to learn smth brand new to automate 100-200$ per day (since i need it) biz is not good and takes time to snowball.

The business principles always apply : Product/Service-Offer-Leads-Sales ok cool.

What about the other 99 things of making a method work. How can i vet out smth before trying it to either lose time or money.

I know i'm asking a very vague question, but this is because i know that 90% of the community is people that should just grind their asses off.

The other 10% is liquid gold.
How do i find the gold.

Exactly can't be more real than this, and the worst part.......... SOME PPL STILL FALL FOR IT

Where's that quote from? It's gold... Hormozi had smth like this aswell "Coach me is better than me me"
In the sense of telling someone to do smth bcz u logically know it will work is LEVELS different from doing it.
Spot on research is a skill.

Anyhow amazing reply dropped a follow!

Absolutely 100% correct. However i will add a little factor.
At the beginning of ur journey u feel like 10k/m is ages away and almost impossible. As soon as you do it a couple months back to back. You lost the value to the 10k now it's road to 100k.
AND now you know that in todays day and age 10k/m is peanuts and actually extremely easy.
Now you don't wanna use your time on trying smth to make a couple 100 per day since you know it's NOT SAUCE just a couple insider experienced guy concise guidelines.

I believe there are methods that if shared do not increase the likelyhood of the revenue going down due to competition....

An example from my experience?
Retweet groups, more ppl do it the better for everyone.

Well, I personally (and I know most others too) have a BS meter or sensor. That is how you can tell. :)
Yup, mine only works IRL. Self doubt meter is low in my case, when i read smth and it logically makes sense.
I'm like yeah that'll work.

Call me naive, maybe you're right.
I would fancy calling myself a clairvoyant.

I definitely agree with that and I'm curious to hear people's comments.

There is no real parameter or a tool to filter out BS. You learn as you go. Comes with experience

I have seen people who claim to do 7 fig yearly with an agency, but their advertisement costs alone would probably be more than 50% plus other fixed and variable expenses. Their gross would only be 6 fig. yearly before taxes for all the risk and investments

Same is the case for CPA, affiliate marketing, etc. Always look for the bottom line net earnings.

And look for the takeaway in a method. Even if you pick up 5% of gold in the BS, its still gold. I wouldn't expect a blueprint with an action plan for a 30-100 USD course.
