I've tried this method a few months back, March if I recall well and haven't had success with a single account they just banned every single one.

Anyone still having success with mass email invites these days?

I just started trying this today on a new account. Send well over 3000 requests to email addresses from various sources, mostly mafia wars and farmville emails. Ill let you know how i get on.

I have had over 100 friend requests sent to me today and the account is about 45 mins old How long is it before they ban you?

This thread is outdated. Since it was originally posted FB has made some significant changes when it comes to uploading mass contact lists. However, some people are still able to get away with it. I suggest only uploading 600-700 E-mails at a time, per account.

I am just running tests at the minute to sort of narrow down what kind of figures i can play with before actually getting banned.

I've been successful (so far) ..but i've been pretty conservative adding only a few hundred a day. I may experiment with some "dummy accounts" to try to add more.

Do not get to excite to add friends , make sure they are not all just mafia wars etc. At the end you want them to convert,

For the newbie that asked a while back what this conversation is all about. Basically stated:

1) FB has a link in your FB 'home' area that allows you to invite your 'friends' who are not on FB, to FB via your inout of their email addresses.

2)It allows you to paste in, or upload a txt file of many email addresses. The theory has been that you shouldn't get banned because FB would assume that if you have a person's email address, YOU MUST KNOW THEM right? Well, it appears bans are happening left and right, anyways. (So far, i haven't been banned from doing this, but I have suspected that all my requests aren't going out to as many ppl as I'm sending them to. And let's just say I've sent out 17,000; sometimes sending out 1,000's at a time with no problems).

3)So, fortunately in support of this method, all kinds of "ADD ME" groups have also popped up on facebook of ppl purely posting LARGE lists of their email addresses that are linked to their FB accounts, for various reasons like: they want more friends; they want to grow their support in one of those games they play on FB. Either way those email addys athere for you to pilage!

Also, I forgot to mention (but I want o keep this separate from my above post now), I found this thread because i too am looking for a harvester etc. that can go into those addme groups and scrape ALL of those emails out for me.
