Yes. I currently have 3 identical implementations each on their own unique hosting provider with their own unique secret word. All are over 10 months old. They produce identical lists. Occasionally one site might be missing a tag or two in the list. I think this has to do with how google updates stats for individual pages. They usually come back within a day. Other than that the relative order of tags nearly always matches with 24 hours.

EDIT: I find it amazing that a lot of bogus WSOs get more attention than your posts. This is the most useful information I've seen on BHW.

Thanks! High praise... All it takes is sticking my neck way out there with crazy theories and a genuine interest in helping others... and a thick skin for forum debating, which is about as fun as chewing on tinfoil... and the totally awesome feeling that comes from sometimes admitting when I'm wrong... but sincerity is a function over time... and I will try to make it last. I'm honest to a fault... so I'll "cash out" when I'm spent but hopefully that wont be for another year or so. In the mean time I keep picking fights and kicking your ass with data! What I always wondered about is the duplicate content thing - if yll your pages have more or less the identic content (even if its only one word) - why does google index them all?

Can't give away my secret keywords... I have too much time invested in them to risk polluting my data... I don't even click the page links in the google serps... Analytics shows nice pretty 0's for traffic and I want to keep it that way.

If so, do you have any problem keeping your pages/sites indexed? Any problem with duplicate content or not enough content?

Actually I think getting the pages and sites indexed and keeping them in the index is the most "tricky" part. You cannot just link from an external site because, I guess, the order of the links might influence the result of the tests.

BTW thanks your posts, they gave me a lot of ideas!

Ack! A lot of people are going to get pissy because you're making me shatter their religous beliefs!

Link order changes nothing... It is one of many reasons I don't believe link position on page matters at all... The best reason it doesn't matter is that googlebot never loads my js and css files so technically they have no idea where the content actually resides on screen. Its too easy to game. The main reason I believe position doesn't matter is my belief that the only things that actually matter effect traffic and sales... one such factor is PR. linking from the top or bottom of my PR8 to a PR0 always has the same effect... PR3 in 10 ten months with no other link building... The traffic patterns to my PR3s look the same if you account for the relative traffic volume of the keywords they target. They all convert to sales at roughly equivalent ratios for their respective offerings... socks sales convert the same on socks sites etc... I'll take footer links from quality sites any day of the week... If link placement is a factor then its not a meaningful or significant one for online retail as far as I can tell.


I don't submit via webmastercentral I use hxxp://www.g00gle.c0m/addurl/?continue=/addurl , but I am starting to believe that Google punishes sites for not being verified in WC... Especially Matt Cutts recent statements that he believes webmasters are grossly negligent if they don't and having so much as a single improperly encoded character on the page is sufficient evidence that your content is lifted... It is clear he has never worked with a copywriter... they mostly write in MS Word and copy/paste to CMS... most CMS systems don't have real time grammar and spell checking.
That's another topic...

I need to run some WC experiments for sure...

Ipopbb, how did it work? Did it seem to do the trick? Seemed like a lot needed to be changed. . .

My first broad scale attempt to correct this will deploy next week. I expect to see large traffic and revenue gains from it... If I do I will share the vital aspects (probably not all the details) but enough for others to correct as well.

I'm torn on webmaster central/add url and natural indexing. I personally feel getting a backlink on an authority site and have a sitemap (xml and text) will ensure your pages are indexed thoroughly.
I don't think its negligent to not submit your site to WC. But that's just based on my experience. I didn't list my main biz site in WC and achieved a PR 4 in 9 months with a handfull of links and some of my own html/CSS tricks.
