It doesnt. It forwards everything to the host.

I run multiple dmca-heavy sites, no problems so far. The top dogs also use namecheap\namesilo\rucenter and have been online for almost a decade now.
Also namesilo works the same.

My list for offshore hosting and domains goes as follows: (I can vouch only the ones i have used in 2021 to 2024 and beyond)

1. shinjiru.com for hosting (malaysia) - good
2. nicenic.net for domain (hong kong) - best
3. the-online.com for domain and hosting (dmca ignored in netherlands location, and singapore location) -good
4. vsys vps (europe) - okay
5. buyvm for vps (europe) - good
6. namecheap & spaceship (not safe, supspends domain without notification, avoid)
7. internet.bs (not safe, suspends domain and hosting, avoid)
8. incognet (reseller of internet.bs, avoid)
9. njalla (avoid)
10. orangewebsite for hosting (was good, but now avoid)

2. Nicenic.net took down my site after a dmca complaint immediately, no warning, threatened that further infractions will result in suspension. Not recommended, apparently they only have .hk domains that they don't care for dmca. Everything else is not safe.
4. vsys ukraine location is dmca-ignored (they block Russian ip connections, so take note if you have Russian audience) but Ukraine porn is illegal, so no adult sites. Netherlands/US location allows adult, but not dmca-ignored.
6. Have been using namecheap for a very long time, no suspensions or even warnings for multiple dmca-heavy adult sites.
7. No experience, but fapello is on internet.bs, the top OF leaks site. for a very long time.

what was the domain extension you had with nicenic ? I believe it plays a role.

From my experience, their server/IPs are listed in spamhaus, and when I told them they need to do something otherwise hotmail/icloud/outlook emails can't be sent/received. They asked me not to send spam emails while I only sent less than five email a day. Never have such experience with any other hosting companies.
