I'm wondering if speaking about your personal experience + reputation of writer/blog can improve rankings in 2025?

I asking because:
- EEAT has been a thing for a while
- Noticed Reddit and Quora are ranking very, very well since recent updates

Have you had any positive experiences with this?

Personally, I have tried to experiment with this and have had some nice results on occasion. I would say that 2 out of 5 pages I tried it on got a boost.

PS: Here's a practical example. I have an article on a specific music topic. It ranks #4-9 for that kw. I posted the same article in a subreddit about that band, and that ranks #1 consistently :))

Your observations are spot-on, and they align with the current trajectory of search engine algorithms emphasizing experience, expertise, authority, and trustworthiness (EEAT) even more. Platforms like Reddit and Quora perform exceptionally well because they inherently demonstrate user-generated experience and real-world relevance, which search engines value.

I assume it will have very positive effect. But to know the exact effect, you will have to perform tests. Now there is lot of testing required to succeed in blogging.
