Facebook Ad Account / Business Portfolio Structure

Hi really sorry for what may be basic to most, but I've looked through so many old threads and still can't figure this out. I think I have a misunderstanding of when new ad accounts / business portfolios are needed if someone could please help.

I am using my personal FB as the profile. I have a Business Portfolio connected to this, as well as a FB Page and Ad Account. All of which are named after my shopify store name.

I created a 2nd shopify store so thought I needed to create a new Business Portfolio, FB page, and Ad Account.

I created these again under my personal FB profile, then went to launch ads without warming up, and now the new ad account is banned.

1. Is this new Business Portfolio I created now cooked? Since the ad account associated with it got insta banned and no option to create more Ad Accounts?

2. I verified my personal drivers license ID, store domain, credit card, etc on this new Business Portfolio, will any new Business Portfolio / Ad Account get banned if they see the same ID, domain, or credit card again?

3. Did I even need to create a new Business Portfolio for my new store, or could I have just created a new Ad Account within the 1st Business Portfolio?

Your listing must be approved, and it must have 2 green ticks in the category, advertising account then get the spent account type. If you need pre-verified products, please contact me

If your new ad account got banned, it’s likely the entire Business Portfolio is compromised. Reusing the same ID, domain, or payment method can lead to future bans. You probably didn’t need a new Business Portfolio, creating a new ad account under the first one would’ve been enough

It appears your ban was some form of automated protection mechanism put in place by FB, as misguidedly as it works so often.

1. Your best bet is to appeal the decision and if you didn't break any TOS, you have solid chance of getting your account unbanned.
2. Not sure, imho it depends on the type of a ban that was executed and in your case it doesn't sound like a ban due to a breach of TOS.

ty ok that's a shame, I'll just use first Business Portfolio and pray doesn't get banned for now - feel like I'm gonna regret this if end up getting personal profile banned but just can't justify doing those elaborate anti-detect, proxy, multi profile set ups, would feel like an 'all the gear no idea' when I can't even run ads profitably lol

1. you just need to unlock it through verifying your account
2. No, it does not affect further blocking at all, who writes that it affects it is a complete nonsense. Imagine Adidas had a lot of banned advertising accounts and you think they can't use their domain for advertising after that?
3. You should have just created a new ad account in your old BM

Hey, no worries! You could’ve just created a new Ad Account in the first Business Portfolio, no need for a new one. Your ID, domain, and credit card might flag a new account if it's the same info, so best to proceed cautiously
