PROXY SELLER QUESTION

Do you all who provide proxies ever worry about what people are using your services for? Are y'all not ever worried of a 3LA showing up to your door? Wanting to get their sticky little fingers on your proxy servers? I know at least some of you run your proxy farms out of a bedroom with hella devices, or emulators. Shit, maybe y'all have a whole ass mansion idk. I am just genuinely curious, do not have the interest, skills, balls of steel, or funds to do it myself & would probably develop a paranoia induced psychosis state if i ever did. lol.

Nothing but respect for all of you wonderful proxy providers, my undies don't go a day dry because of yall!

Haha you're not alone. I'm also curious about the dark side of proxy use. However, at the end of the day, anything can be used for both good or bad purposes — it all comes down to the intention of the user behind it. I also think there are still reputable proxy providers out there. Props to your insight about this!

They may well operate within grey areas. And while there's a lot of legitimate uses for them, it's not their business to know what it's being used for exactly, that's privileged information. Like how truly secure chat apps don't sneak a peek into conversations being exchanged in their platform. One can only really speculate. There's a lot of discourse already done about this sort of thing and I suspect there will be more in the future. Side note and to my knowledge, there hasn't been a legitimate proxy provider that's been served a warrant or being ordered to divest. The whole service's premise is probably in some three-letter agencies to-do list though but not much overtly done about them.
