I have not earned any money from games, but I have 100% achievements/trophies in Elden Ring, Sekiro, Dark Souls, Hollow Knight, the Ori series, and in many other games

To be honest, Games wil always greater role in my life, its the sole reason for my creavity getting wider range, helps me set rules and regulations to myself which helps even in my real life.

GTA vice city has the most impact in my life.. Right from hand consoles which costs just 4-5USD to Playstation 5, Meta Quest 3, I have a big collections in my room.

I game for fun, man, and honestly, it’s great if you’ve got some decent brainpower. Gaming isn’t just dumb entertainment like some people think. It actually helps improve your mental health, coding skills, and strategy making, alright? Plus, it’s good for your hand-eye coordination too. Try playing something like Dark Souls it teaches you to control your emotions. You can’t just rage quit when you’re stuck on a boss you’ve gotta push through and come up with a damn strategy to win.

So, stop trashing gaming. Yeah, I know I could focus entirely on getting rich, but we need to balance that with our health and some enjoyment. change your mindset

Gaming is definitely a thief of time. I have also made money from gaming($2k from Fortnite and $5k from Valorant). BUT, with both games combined, I have over 6000 hours. That is barely more than $1/hour. I was considered extremely good, and yet they still stole my time, and I wish I had never touched them.

I wish I could tell myself that when I'm playing EA Sports NHL 2025 online playing against someone who is ranked high up on the leaderboards. That game frustrates me at times and when I was in my 20s the game was so much different and I was way better. Times have changed and I need to practice the game more.

I still play age of empires 2 been playing from the day it released. Now it's multiple player online. Earlier in the initial days used to play campaigns.

Also have been playing FIFA from 2002(EA sports)

But I couldn't really play or had the patience to play after GTA San Andreas.

I couldn't concentrate and play after.

I think when GTA IV came I was dealing with a break-up and that probably would have made me loose focus when I think of it now. I always thought I outgrew that

But I intend to pick up GTA 6 when it releases and try again

The plus side with FIFA or AOE is, you just need 1-2 hours of commitment to play and finish

I used to game a lot too, if you can do it in moderation sure, but for me, I just get hooked easily, if i start a game I HAVE to level up to the max, get everything, the best gear, etc be decent in pvp, well guess what,
instead of grinding 100s of hours into a soul sucking grind that pays nothing but just steal ur money in micro transactions,
put the grind into real life
why do you think men play video games, because we are naturally driven to achieve something! we need to fill this void with something, some of us chose to grind in real life
