I am from Scotland. Land of the strong. Land of the brave.
In the misty hills where echoes roam,
Scotland stands, a land of stone,
With ancient battles, fierce and proud,
A legacy that speaks aloud.
The thistle blooms, the winds do call,
Brave hearts rise, they never fall,
Through lochs and glens, their spirits soar,
Defiant ever, forevermore.
'Neath England's boot, they fought and bled,
Yet still they rose, though freedom's thread,
Under skies of grey or blue,
Scotland’s strength is ever true,
In every wave, in every blade,
The soul of a nation, unafraid.
