CMS/SiteBuilder - ease of use?

Hi all.

I have made static sties with Frontpage and/or Kompser but it's slow and messy to maintain.

I've been having a look at Drupal and Joomla, they are both database driven and I'm not sure I need or want that. I'm thinking of relatively simple sites 20 to 50 pages will nothing more complex than a aff link or contact form.

What I need is EASY TO USE I'm no programmer and big G friendly I'd go with WP it's easy but the load times hurt.

If you are only familiar with Frontpage and Komposer, just keep it easy with a WordPress site - WP 3.0 just came out and I have never had a problem with load times with any of my WP sites. Load times will be increased if your images are not optimized for the web at 72dpi.

WordPress is database driven, as is Joomla and Drupal. WordPress is a lot more newb-friendly than either Joomla or Drupal, with plentiful templates found here on this forum or elsewhere on the web.

I was looking at a cache plugin that apparently speeds load times right up, I'm going to give it a go.

I'm more interested in making $ than geeking out.............

My pages include my own CMS, so you can edit your sites from any broswer. Drop dead simple. Even my grandma can edit her realestate site. And shes nearly dead.
