Are you often Reading Books?

Just wondering how many people on BHW actually read Books? and if so, what type of books do you read/what is your favorite one?

i try to read self help books, rare i can find a story book i like. lot less recently though.

I definitely read books! Mostly non-fiction, especially in areas like personal development, business, and marketing. A favorite of mine is *Atomic Habits* by James Clear it’s full of practical advice on building good habits and breaking bad ones. Also love books on psychology and productivity. How about you? I enjoy reading self help books, a few pages every now and then. Not sure if mangas and webtoons can be counted as books but I read them everyday!

Same for me Atomic Habits is just one of the Best Books i ever read. If you didnt already read those then you should try, Think and Grow Rich, Ego is The Enemy, Don't hurt me. Those belong also to my Favorite list. Right now i Finished reading Sun Tzu Art of War and it was also a Great book but those i mention before was just better (for me). Next Book i read is just about Dopamin Detox. What are you reading right now?

I start reading 5-10 books at a time in a volley and then for some reason don't read for a year...and then again)))))
If I find a boring book, I don't want to read at all.

I read books in all genre, I mostly prefer fictions! my current read is "Yellow Face by Rebecca Kuang"

Yup I love reading business/marketing.

I particularly like anything human psychology based so one of my favourites being Influence: The Psychology Of Persuasion by Dr. Robert Cialdini.

Hell yeah.

Got started with cashvertising and 100m offers which @splishsplash recommended to me a couple of years ago.

Used those two books as a branching point into all the others .

I wish I could but I don't get time to read books.

i avoid books as much as i can

i consider them tools of primitive people who haven't discovered video or teleportation

Both things available for free

Video is far too slow.

I consider video tools of primitive minds that need information conveyed slowly at the speed of speech.

Text can be consumed fast, in large quantities with multiple sources simultaneously. You can take chunks from each source. You can study properly with text.

Video is SLOW and forces you to learn at the speed of the speaker, without the ability to go back and forward.

The only exception to this is information that's NOT available in textual sources, or university lectures which tend to be very informationally dense.
