Dumb question for sure but when using the Facebook app on an iPhone or iPad, how do you enter a particular LINK to another FB profile so you can visit it? There should be an address bar somewhere at the top of the screen to enter in the link but there isn't. So how are you supposed to do it? (Say I have facebook.com/profile/0323298432520672 and I want to visit it. How do I type that in?)

No, I"m not a boomer.

On the Facebook app, you can't enter the link directly. Instead, use the search bar to enter the ID, or copy the link and open it in your browser, then switch back to the app if needed. Fastest and most convenient!

Facebook will automatically redirect you when you use the link,

go to safari if you use ip and paste that link in, then log in your facebook directly on there.

You can open it by entering the link into your browser.

You can link a profile by entering the link into your browser but you can't enter the link directly so copy it and open it in your browser.

you just need to enter the link into the browser and it will redirect you there. or you can enter the id on the FB search box

The condition is that you are using a browser. Then, you just need to copy the link and paste it into your browser to open it

You can copy that link and use your phone browser to search.

Just enter the link you want on google toolbar and login fb

you can't type the link directly. instead use the search bar copy the link and open in your browser,

Instead of trying to type the full URL, just enter the name of the profile or any identifiable information. Facebook does not support direct URL entry in the app.

Just copy the link (like facebook.com/profile/xxxxxxxxxxxxx), open the Facebook app, tap the search bar at the top, paste it there, and hit search. It’ll redirect you to the profile if it exists. Hope it helps bro

just paste the link in your browser or search the ID directly in Facebook’s search bar — quick and simple!
