Hello, maybe you already know this, or maybe you don’t.

I spent about $50 USD on X Ads and then stopped the promotion. As a result, I got a blue tick for being an Ads customer, and it hasn’t been removed for months!

This seems to be a way to avoid paying for a membership and instead spend on ads. However, the ads are a bit tricky—they don’t get good impressions and often report clicks that I never actually received. Feels a bit shady, like Elon Musk trying to make money off advertisers after telling us to “f*ck ourselves.” :P

This is pretty tactical. Wont mind giving it a try. I guess Elon is doing every to keep people on the platform especially spenders

Nooo way! Man, this is savage, I will surely test this out! So 50$ only and you are there for life, and regular Premium+ is like 22$ a month. Is there info if you get the same reply boost as the regular Premium+ member?

There was another thread in the forum explaining just this method but I think they just spent like $5 or something.
Then that would be even better.
But it took a little while to get the blue tick, I had to apply.

So far, that's how it works but heads up, there's no telling when that might change. Wouldn't be the first time they took away the blue tick from users due to one policy change or another.

Wait till after a year to confirm if the blue tick is permanent.

I also had the same issue with Twitter ads a while back. I think FB has better ad platform than twitter.
