Every job I post is infested with 50 applicants who uses AI and copy paste bs while their qualifications do not match the job listing, they don't even read. How do they have money for connections? absurd.
Is it me or upwork is becoming shit?

It's for minimum 5 years. That's why I not do anything on upwork or freelancer.
If you want the best customers, go to Toptal but verification is horror, they are checking skills

If they are checking skills that's good, less bad actors.
I honestly cannot even find good freelancers, and the greed of upwork is beating EA and Nestle records

me too, I was looking for a job and everything is so saturated it seems that suddenly everyone knows about it and wasn't like that before also for the job offers, I swear I can see several offers very similar with different companies, same type of job 4 or 6 times, is not a nice place and you can also see job applications that being open for more than 6 months with a lot of application I mean 6 months and still open
