So let's say I have a fake female facebook account.
Some Egyptian dude wants nudes.
I tell him to give me money.
He sends money.
I block him.

Any repercussions to this?

There's nothing he or Facebook can do I think.
But I doubt he'd report it.

"Um, I was asking this fake chick for some nudes and I was stupid enough to pay her for them."

lol exactly what I was thinking - I was just paranoid there might be legal problems.

Yes, there are repercussions. This is called E-Whoring, and has subsequently been banned from being discussed here on BHW because of the repercussions. You are essentially scamming people out of their money. This can be taken all the way to the FTC. In short, bad idea.

Well, I guess it's a good thing I haven't done this. lol
Thanks for the information everyone.

Yes, it is a very good thing you have not done this. What saddens me is the fact that you honestly thought nothing was wrong or illegal about this whatsoever. :lmao:

Oh no, I did think there was something illegal - that's why I inquired. lol
Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered asking at all.

eh, its such a small amount, I really dont think theres anything to worry about. I made a WHOLE lot of money back in the day from E whoring and other "non legit" methods, and so far (fingers crossed), nothing has come of it. Im not sure if much has changed, since ive moved on from those things, but honestly, wouldnt sweat it too much. Make ur money.

Come on man, do not encourage this type of activity. Not only is it morally wrong, it is illegal. Just because you did not get caught, that does not mean the OP (or anyone else for that matter) will not be caught. All you have to do is scam the wrong person, and FB users are getting more and more keen to this type of crap as the days go by.

I didnt mean to offend ya, I usually agree with everything you say on here, but he asked and I answered. I wouldnt do it now, like I said, but I did it in the past with no worries. I wasnt encouraging per say, just answering :)

You did not offend me at all bro, and you know I have much respect for you. I just did not want anyone on here to get the wrong idea and wind up in trouble, that is all. Cheers! :)
