how to get phone # for whatsapp activation

sorry for posting in wrong forum, not sure where this should go tbh

I need whatsapp asap problem is I dont have a valid phone number at the moment

truth is, I dont need one

I work from home live alone with my wife and kids all my friends are gone dead or druggies
nobody reaches for me beside my family
I'm good with telegram and messenger

but work now calls for whatapp
how can I get that verification they want if I dont have a damn number

You can lose it if someone take that same number and decided to make a telegram
