Why after I carry out backlinking and indexing backlinks do strange links appear pointing to the web, these links often have the .xyz extension, no SSL

Some indexing services use 301 redirects from their own domains to force Googlebot to visit your submitted backlinks. These domains can get burned quickly, so services often use the cheapest .tlds, such as .xyz. These 301s are not usually up for long, but some can still end up in backlink reports.

Some services also try and advertise themselves by creating sites and linking to every single registered domain name, in an attempt to get their pages showing up when webmasters run backlink reports. .xyz domains are often used for these too.

Thankyou so much, do you have your own blog sharing SEO knowledge? I ask for reference.

To avoid getting stuck with strange links when creating backlinks, always ensure you're linking to reputable and relevant websites. Use tools like Google Search Console to monitor link quality and avoid spammy sources. Regularly audit your backlink profile to maintain credibility and SEO effectiveness.

No I don't have a SEO blog. My track record with non-automated blogging is not very good. Any personally written blogs I've started over the years quickly get neglected and the domains end up getting repurposed ;)

Negative SEO attacks or poor backlinking techniques can lead to strange links, frequently ending in.xyz or lacking SSL. Steer clear of automated link-building tools and concentrate on trustworthy websites. Maintain the SEO health of your website by routinely auditing backlinks with tools like Ahrefs or Google Search Console, and disavow any links that are detrimental.

It's a pity, with your knowledge I'm sure you will help a lot of people.
