So there is this forum member (let's call him X for simplicity's sake) who has been accused by many people of scamming them. His website URL as it is in his sig space or rather the domain specifically was registered in October 2024 on namecheap. And he has an alleged video of talking about himself (on his website )and his 'skills'. He claims to have certain years of experience but registered his domain 2 months ago with his real/ fake name? Come on.

Funny part is if you watch that entire video, the guy in the video says "BH" like "Bee H" instead of "black hat". Its a dead giveaway that the dude in the video was given a script to read. Like think about it for a bit. A fellow forum member pointed out that the 2 positive feedbacks he has are from newly created accounts on BHW with a couple of messages.

The point I want to make here is that buyers need to be careful. I mean really careful. Some dude allegedly sent this guy more than 2 grand and says the funds are now gone.

As a buyer always have a trust budget like say 200 USD and never send anyone a cent more than that when buying their services for the first time. X has planned everything so precisely and carefully that I personally think this thing is far bigger than it seems. And I even know what he will do when someone finally submits a dispute thread against him and it gets approved. We all know. Change his profile pic and type his signature statement.

Just be careful guys and stay safe.

The least we could expect is his premium subscription being revoked with so many reports, but not even that. If you need so much evidences that none of his victims can fulfill then there is something wrong here, too much bureaucracies.

If you need to wait more people to be robbed to take action, there is something else wrong here, you should take action to prevent new scams, not wait for them to happen, and then finally have evidence to ban him.

Just revoke his premium membership, refund his $97 and avoid two or three posts like this everyday complaining about this annoying situation

Like come on, everyone keeps complaining about him yet somehow no evidence brought to the table is enough for a ban? I really think there should be some kind of comprehensive irrefutable essay to suggest he is to be removed forever. Idk if any of what anyone is saying is wrong, but BHW seemed to be basically always fine with removing scammers until... now? Seems kinda weird how this is a one-off case no one can seem to crack. That's just my thoughts.

I commented about this before. Some rules should NOT be followed to the letter. It is not good for the forum to be 100% rigid in everything. Some liberties must be taken proactively.

In fact, some reported posts are dealt with differently depending on who is handling them anyway. The same exact post will be removed by one moderator and will stay active by another.

One person who swears at someone will go without warning and another one who swears even less will get a warning.

Moderating is subjective at times even depending on the mood of the moderator at the time. I've seen this one a lot.

That means we come full circle and the rules should not be there to ensure rigidity, rather serve as a guide to make the right decision.

If someone can buy a Premium Membership five different times and sit in HAF/WTB threads without being caught even once, we have a problem. I agree with this to a certain extent.

Recently, I've see a few obviously AI posts make it's way into the forum and somehow they are still allowed. Seems kinda silly for BHW to allow that kinda stuff.

But bans are kinda serious and so they need some kind of consistency and fairness for everything to function well.

As I mentioned in another post about this subject, the best approach without enough evidence would be revoke his premium membership due to suspicious behavior. In this case, you don't need concrete evidence from his victims, since many of them don't care enough to open a dispute and provide lots of proofs (already knowing that very likely they won't recover their money), but based on so many reports, it would be enough to revoke his premium membership.

Maybe there could be something where if say 3 or more people submit a dispute thread that the accused jr VIP or premium could be temporarily revoked.

And after all three or more disputes have been resolved then they get their jr VIP or premium restrictions removed.

I'm sure something like that could be relatively easy to implement and automate: If a guy has 3 or more dispute threads in the mod queue within 24, 48 HR period then revoke membership temporarily.

Because if someone gets 3+ disputes in a relatively short period of time that could be indicative of poor performance or potentially a scam from the seller.

But then I wanted to check his posts, and as a Newbie, I couldn’t access them. So, I decided to search for his name, and here I am. Is he really that good, or is no one actually trying to find out?
