What are your plans for the new year?

People say the start of a new year gives us an opportunity to get some kind of restart. We're able to take on new challenges and build up on existing one.

Personally this year, I've decided to take my trading a lot more seriously and double down on what I've learnt in the past year. Hopefully the January trading competition in my exchange helps with that. As I write this there's a Bitget tab open in my browser for registration lol.

It takes extreme emotional discipline.

If you take trading lightly you can lose a ton of money pretty fast.

You need to develop a system and stick to it no matter what improving it day by day a bit.

It helps if you do other shit in your life that take discipline, like diet or going to the gym. This is a transferrable skill to trading and very useful indeed.

It's almost impossible if you live an undisciplined life to become a successful trader as you will be emotionally slaved to market moves by the minute.
