Fucking Annoying, I need help please!!!

Hi,

I woke up today, did my usual checkings on the emails and account on the computer, logged into msn,yahoo and aim and checked who where online and all. Then I close my laptop and it goes into what I think is waiting mode or somewhat^^ then after 2 hours of sleeping, I wake up and I'm about to check things again. First of all, I can't login into msn, aim and yahoo and they all say that it's something wrong with my internet connection, something with network portals.

Then I try to visit hotmail.com to login into my email there and you know what, it does not load!!!!!!!!! I mean, I can visit every fucking page on the planet but not hotmail.com and live.com.

Can anyone here help me? I have been researching about it for two hours but everything that I try does not work. I'm in a hurry and I need access to my hotmail and other email account.

Clear your cache/cookies, reboot etc, can be a lot of things, it's really hard to "help" without actually being in front of the computer.
You can also run a spyware/antivirus

Thanks for your help, have done all the things you said and much more but with no success and now I know why, it's not my fault^^

I just took a look on the forums in my country and all are exploding with the same questions, it seems that all of the mayor internet providers in my country have problems, you can't access internationell websites. I can't load hotmail, yahoo, cnn and much more.

I suspect malware has added lines to the C:\WINDOWS\I386\hosts (no extension) file. Open the file in notepad, and paste the EXACT contents here (preferably in a code tag). This can indeed be really annoying, but fortunately, it's easy to fix. I might be wrong though, so paste that file here.

Yep, I forgot to mention, it's all fixed, problem with the ISP.

reset your modem, reset your router.

turn them both off for 10 secs (unplug), then back on.

just to make sure the problem isn't related to external network devices.


EDIT: Did not see your last post, good to know everything is back to normal.
