How do I use proxy with tiktok? I bought residental proxy on proxy-sale, and tried using it with normal wifi proxy settings, but tiktok app doesnt recognize it at all, works only for browser. I tried other apps like proxifier and tiktok still doesnt recognize it, even though it says my location is us while using chrome. Do i need us sim card? Bcz right now i dont have any sim in the phone.

TikTok can disable your proxy, as every app can do it on mobile. There is one line command inside android API, apps can trigger and choose to not use proxy

Got recent new about resisted ban of TikTok from United States locations, you could try other countries.

I am not using SIM because they last for 2 accounts. I am using something else but it's not for public forum.
But if you want to buy SIM, find T-Mobile USA from ebay, but avoid Lyca Mobile

Did you try configure proxy on antidetect browser profile? These profiles will be like Chrome but each with different browser fingerprint. You can register TikTok account on this profiles and of course the proxy will work

ofc i did but when u try to add a video from android you are instantly redirected to the app since u cant upload in a browser ;/

Have you tried using proxy combined with antidetect browser software, I think you should try it

Ask chatgpt if apps can detect proxies / vpn and force to use original connection. Chatgpt will even give you code to use it on Android and you can test in your own app

On iOS they can do the same.

Do you sell this info/strategies/services that are 'not for public forum' ?

I tried using smartproxy(not sure if i can name them here(hopefully i dont get baned)) residential IPs but way over priced for my liking and I am just starting off. I already spent over $50 in 1 weeks time - surely i am doing something wrong and tiktok still has me shadow banned with 0 views on videos, cant message anybody, cant follow anyone, etc. etc.

I know 'you have to spend money to make money' but Is so the only solution is to buy phones with sim cards and real numbers etc. and rinse/repeat? Cus, i would be willing to dish out the cash if 'it is the tried and true' solution to beating tiktoks over protection mechanisms
