X allows verified users to add a subscription Option on top of following them. With this you get flair added to you replies to their post, You get subscriber based post and Your comments get higher placing.


Some of the users get thousands of views on their comments while my replies get 20 or 30 40 50 and randomly get thousands. What drives this? Is it the amount of verified followers or the amount of engagement with verified followers?

It's the twitter's algo, however, nobody knows how it works exactly and if they did they probably wouldn't discuss it here. Just do what works in terms of posts.

It's a bit of a toss up yeah. We can make educated assumptions but no one really knows exactly how the algo for Twitter, or even other websites, really work. Upsetting it is really easy though.

Fair enough. I guess it works but you have to have traction with your account. I did it for a month
