I’m working with aged blank Reddit accounts using all the recommended precautions—same proxies as my supplier, cookies imported correctly, and following proper warm-up procedures. Despite this, a large percentage of accounts still end up shadowbanned during or shortly after the warm-up phase, when I start commenting. I’ve been scrolling, upvoting, joining subreddits, and spacing out actions, but the results remain inconsistent.

Looking for actionable strategies to improve success rates and reduce shadowbans. If you’ve cracked the code on warming up aged blanks effectively, I’d love to hear your input. I need this to operate at scale, to start my Karma farm.

The warm-up phase is critical, and even with all the precautions, it can be hit or miss. What I’ve found works best is starting really slow. Like, one or two upvotes on very niche subreddits, no comments at all for the first few days. Gradually add more activity, but spread it out. I try not to use rotating proxies too aggressively, keeping them consistent with just a few small changes in location. Also, I avoid posting in high-traffic subs early on. Just keep it low-key at first and don’t rush to build karma. It’s a patience game! If you’ve got some past activity on the account, even small, that can sometimes help too.

How long will It normally take you, for you to be in a position where you can now Karma farm without restrictions

Yes a general rule of thumb is 5-7 days of warning up with cookies and IP will give you the best chance

That depends on what you do during the warmup phase, the type of proxies used for the accounts, and how you manage multiple accounts at once.

I can say that you're definitely doing something wrong.

With regard to cookies are you talking about the new captcach score method by visiting popular sites accepting their cookies to give a higher captcha score?

I am having same issues, I think we should make a megathread with what we find out about reddit algorithms

I'm currently experiencing the same problem. Have you found a solution?
