Twilio can work for any risk level but you have to talk to the support first and explain that it's not spam.
 
Consider platforms like Twilio, Plivo, or BurstSMS. They support higher-risk industries with compliance-focused tools for clean, non-spammy campaigns.
 
In this situation, it would generally be best to find a platform specific to the country where you want to send SMS messages and study the routing system and SID's.

Once, I developed a WordPress plugin with Plivo integration specifically for SMS campaigns. Later, Plivo introduced a requirement for 10DLC registration to support SMS campaigns, ensuring compliance with carrier regulations.
 
Is anyone currently running successful high risk SMS campaigns? We are getting turned down by most platforms due to the recent compliance roll out.

Yes, I send more than 10 million SMS per day using a maximum of 2 platforms.
There are a series of formats and rules that need to be followed, in addition to a deep knowledge of the laws of the country you want to work in.
 
There are also some words and links that are blocked by the country's operators, in which case you can change the words to similar ones or ones with the same meaning and regarding the links you can try to shorten them or try different domains.

Remember that I use all of this with marketing for betting houses and I don't know if it works for other segments.

For SMS marketing in risky industries, I recommend Twilio, Textedly or EZ Texting. These platforms are secure and help you comply with regulations, avoiding the risk of spam. Make sure you always have a clean list and user consent.
 
Not sure how massive is your campaign.
I am sending around 4k messages a day to lists for our dating (tinder like) platform. I am using mixed Twilio & SMS[dot]to and some local sms providers, hook up their API to a custom script to send out. And turned out pretty well, yet complain from sms provider is unavoidable. The trickist part is keeping the user's consent proof ready, and need to clean up the list regularly.

May I ask why SMS business complain? Dating apps don't feel like a risk.

As far as I can tell you: there is a bit "more" interesting features than just men match women. (hope you got wat I mean)
Of course we had user's full consent about sending them text. But yet some countries kinda have their own regulation regarding this kind of content, and it applied back to the SMS provider which then thrown back to me for compliance.
