On some of the Member Downloads there are video components. Some are in the Camtasia format, and others are formats that aren't clearly obvious. I try to click the video link and sometimes that works and the download starts, but other times that doesn't work. Attempting to "save as..." doesn't work either.

I'm stuck, so here are two questions...

1. What's the trick to download a video on a page that opens with a Camtasia video on it?

2. When I have a link to a video but it doesn't download when I click the link, what do I need to do to download it to my hard drive?

Thanks.

1) Download Camtasia from a torrent site
2) Right-click on the link and "save as"

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I may have not made myself clear. In 1., I'm talking about downloading a video file that is a part of a package, most of these won't be in torrents. I have Camtasia but I'm curious how to download a camtasia file that is part of a product offering.

In 2, I've tried "save as" and I get a very small file that doesn't appear to be a video or zip file.

Try this thread:

(or)

The Magician had a good idea in another thread:

1). Use Firefox browser downloaded from here. Choose language and system:

Code:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

2). Install Firefox Video DownloadHelper from here:

Code:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

3). Restart Firefox browser and open hXXp://www.launchformulamarketing.c0m/vids/

4). Open each page:
  • Video 1: Introd*uction
  • Video 2: Mem*ber Mana*gement
  • Video 3: v1.20 Ne*w Fea*tures

As each page opens, watch for the Video DownloadHelper icon
3006ni1.png
to change from grey to colours and start spinning. Click on the icon and download the video. Videos must be viewed with your choice of Flash Player and will probably need renaming.

Skip part 1). if you already have Firefox browser installed.

That's it!

Thanks all. I just remembered I should have added this, I'm downloading through a proxy. That's pretty important but I forgot it.

Apparently, this software is able to do what you need:
hxxp://w3.flash*video*down*loader.c0m/

change xx to tt
change w3 to www
remove all *
change 0 to o

Hope this helps ya :)

The other method you can try is:

1) To have your own copy of Camtasia
2) You then go to the webpage that has the Camtasia video file
3) Launch your own Camtasia program, and using the Camtasia program to record the video and audio on that webpage, which you then convert to a camtasia project on your hard drive. This way, you have a offline copy of your own.
However, there might be problems with the audio quality and synchronizing the audio and video sometimes.

If someone has other solutions or a better method, please share with us :p

Flash video downloader is what you want rapidshare.com/files/119911734/dlfvd2006.zip

just point it at the url to the video and it does the rest it downloads the html file as well so you then just got to the download folder open the html file and it plays

pls scan the above file I uploaded it to mediafire.com and got

This file could not be processed because it may be infected with a virus or trojan.

Please check the file and try uploading it again.

This is the file you receive from the website eg it is not cracked or patched and is what he has been giving out I checked it with my system and did not find any thing

JohnDoe I would suggest taking the rapidshare file link down cause
Code:
http://virustotal.com/analisis/4d1db13b2ed72aa7a2b292f1adda23ba

Try Replay Media Catcher. It can capture most streaming media files that I have come across.

Here is camtasia:

w3.rapidshare.c0m/files/62569507/TechSmith_Camtasia_Studio_5.1.0.0.rar

My AVG re[ports backdoor troj in the telep*rt PRO rapidsh*are file.
