How to ping my backlinks? For example, I have backlinks at Ezine.com from article submission. I have to take the url to my article, where my backlinks are, and use ping service, for example, as pingomatic.com, to ping this url. Is this correct?

correct. try adding the code below to your toolbar to make it faster. you just get onto the page you want to ping and then press the toolbar button and it automatically submits it to pingomatic. quick and easy and no copying/pasting.

I am not sure how to add this script. Is this a script for greasemonkey or I should edit some of the files at Firefox installation folder?

neither. you know the bookmark toolbar on firefox where you can drag a page up to the toolbar so the link is visible all the time? just create one of those and paste the script in the location section. You can just drag this page up there and then edit the properties to change the location and title.
