I suggest if bhw can offers this as paid service between members , specially for big money +$300 deals for small fees like $10 or some trusted jrvip who can take title like middleman to be able to play this role

- Another suggestion

Why jrvip sellers who has sales thraed put in hold 100-500$ in bhw business insurance funds box to pay for any members who got scammed from this seller

The feasibility simply doesn't add up. The gross turnover far exceeds the benefits.

Running escrows through largely untraceable mediums such as Crypto (even though still very much a grey area) would technically work. But it comes down to the trustworthiness. What happens if the trusted Jr. VIP leaves? Or something happens to them and they're untraceable?

Setting that aside, if a Jr. VIP receives $1000 from a US BHW member, then once the project is completed keeps his $50 as fees and sends $950 to an Australian BHW member. What is he supposed to tell the tax authorities in his own country?

Then comes the option of the forum starting something like this.

Now, financial services (including Escrow) require a ton of licensing and compliance and tax management.

What happens to disputes then? How does the arbitration get handled? Even if more team members are added, who handles the cost of these new resources?

100% needs a lot of licensing and compliance. I have a team already looking into setting my own up in the UK. The red tape and regulations for this type of business is huge for crossborder transactions. There is a lot of issues from card providers.

Or just merge with a third party escrow service like escrow.com

Answered in another thread.
For those of you suggesting an escrow service, I know you're tired of hearing this, but it's supposed to be a feature in marketplace 2.0. Unfortunately though, I don't have an ETA or know any further information about marketplace 2.0.
