i have share my link on Wikipedia but they have removed the link.

i want to get free backlink there but they have remove my link

is there any solution or guide for our link to stay safe in Wikipedia?

Maybe Lack of Authority: When Links to low-authority or unreliable websites are often removed by editors.

how age is your wikipedia account? they probably didn't think your profile was legit or your url is not relevant
everyday they need to deal with this kind of person trying to get free backlinks there, it's not so easy to keep your url there

Wikipedia is extremely strict on who can feature on their page (and rightfully so). To feature your link on Wikipedia, ensure it provides reliable, verifiable, and non-promotional content that adds value to a relevant article, adhering to Wikipedia's external links and citation guidelines.

They have removed my content, and there's noting like promotion in the content.

To keep a link on Wikipedia, it is important that it is relevant and useful to the article. Try to add only reliable sources and content that really improves the quality of the page. Before inserting a link, it may be useful to contribute other useful edits to build credibility.

thankyou for sharing your experience :)

Wikipedia moderators are aware about people who are willing to add backlinks. It's difficult to add a link, especially with a new account, or an account that hasn't give much to the Wikipedia community.

It should appear natural, not spammy.

How long did it last for you? When I made my link on Wikipedia it lasted 8 months, I remember that my page was new but a niche that did not have much competition, perhaps it could be the theme, remember that there are editors that control the insertion of links.

Follow guidelines outlined by Wikipedia and maybe they won't remove your links then.

Ensure your content is accurate, relevant, and supported by reliable sources while adding value to the article and engaging with the community, as being an active and helpful editor can improve the chances of your link remaining.

If you are adding keywords, try to avoid it and add it as an open URL.

1. Make your site look nice (would you yourself trust it?)
2. Add ACTUAL value in the article your linking from Wikipedia to, this can be unique insights, stats etc.
3. Make changes to other pages before inserting your link, preferably add links in those edits/additions as well

This will make the link stick, Wikipedia mods are a pain in the ass, I recommend inserting it on foreign language wikis instead ;)
