Anyway what does everyone think of their new tool, i really cant say enough how much i dislike it...

Of course it sucks for adult stuff. Have you seen adult ads on Google search, or Adult ads on adsense ads?

You need to be logged in to Adwords though - the old Keyword tool external is (unfortunately) now replaced with the old one...

thanks for quick help guys, you remind me how awesome bhw is

i was just coming to bitch about this...im glad i used the search function first (hint hint noobs)...now i can get back to what im used to

At first, I was pissed with the new keyword tool. It blows until I found out like a month ago and I can still use the old one.

It was literally hell trying to use the new Google Keyword tool, though.

It's like Google was saying, "Hey, we can make our tools shitty if we want to, we know you will ALWAYS use our search engine" type of thing.

i could make my own tool if i had an adwords api account.

yeah that would be nice but G charge for api access to there data, its pretty cheap but still multiple queries and it adds up.

what blows about the new one too is no obvious way to find avg cost per click

Stop hating and start playing with it. You can find the avg cost per click it's just you haven't searched for it I guess :p

*caugh*Views->Customize Columns and check Estimated Avg. CPC*caugh*

I like new one too but I am just used to old one so old one.. :You_Rock_

new ones better for finding adwords keywords, old ones better for finding ranking keywords.

Grab winautomation, force legacy url, and get to digging. I ran the whole AOL leaked searches (circa a few years back) in a few days on a HS connection and a single IP. It can be done with any list however. I like to pas my scrape back and forth between google suggest, wonder wheel and the GAW tool myself. Automated keyword list building at its best. feed it one macro niche keyword phrase (ie:weight loss) and let er rip. Now how to rewite all of that content after running the winners to RSS ;)

Yeah I agree with Dayum above. I use mostly the old one for everything except if I'm messing around with PPC/adwords or anything.

There is an api for this google code library
