Both metrics are entirely link based:

It's just a case of getting links from pages on high DA/DR domains, making sure they're do-follow (especially in Ahref's case), and making sure that the relevant bots (DotBot and AhrefsBot) crawl those links.

Such cheap services often rely on manipulative, spammy tactics to artificially boost DA and DR scores in a short period. However, these results are unlikely to be sustainable and may disappear entirely with the next Google update or penalty.

By gaming the algorithms of Moz and Ahrefs. As for Google's POV, DA/ DR are irrelevant. I mean ask yourself, if getting rankings on Google was possible after buying these $10 'services', wouldn't there be absolute madness on the internet?
Just to add, I don't imply that higher price means better quality. But there is a fair amount of correlation between price and quality.

Since the first answer you should've realized that it's a link matter...you need to buy tons of spammy links to artificially increase your DR and DA. Many of those links can increase your spam score. Some sellers are a bit more concerned about it and at least they use some decent PBN links without giving you a 60% spam score xD

I understand that you can increase your score through links.
But is there an example of what kind of link you are talking about?
And should I request the link to be indexed by mozbot and ahrefsbot rather than Googlebot?
Buying expired high-DA domains and redirecting them to your site & Creating a sudden spike in backlinks, these 2 methods will help.

Seeing that DA/DR are absolutely nothing to do with Google, the only bots you are interested in with these links are DotBot and AhrefsBot.
