Looking for some non-fiction books about propaganda, mass media control and similar topics.

Okay I maybe "Propaganda" by Edward Bernays or another one, but it is fictional I know you may not like it but it's a known one called "1984" by George Orwell - It's a dystopian novel explores themes of totalitarianism, surveillance, and propaganda.

Ty for the recommendations. I already read the 1984, truly a masterpiece.

Hey there, just wanted to give you my two cents since I'm interested in the same topics.

About propaganda and media control, as it's mentioned, you can't go wrong with "Propaganda" by Edward Bernays. Here are some other worth-reading similar ones:

The Engineering of Consent edited by Edward Bernays
Public Opinion by Walter Lippmann
1984 and Philosophy: Is Resistance Futile? edited by George A. Dunn
Trust Me, I'm Lying: Confessions of a Media Manipulator by Ryan Holiday
The Shallows: What the Internet Is Doing to Our Brains by Nicholas Carr
Hate, Inc.: Why Today’s Media Makes Us Despise One Another by Matt Taibbi
Digital Disconnect: How Capitalism is Turning the Internet Against Democracy by Robert W. McChesney
