I considere myself a victim of this bullshit as well, but I would like to share my thoughts with you guys, since there is time to fix this mess
The bullshit: "You need to buy micro/small marketcap crypto coin. Those that have like, no more than $10M in marketcap. Because they just need another $10M to double in price. If they manage to get another $50M, you will have a 6X in total. However, if you buy a huge coin with $5B marketcap, it will be much harder to earn a 6X, because you'd need a flow of $30B into this coin. And it's much easier to imagine a coin receiving $50M than $30B, right? So, you need to buy those random small coins, because with them, you can dream about earning a 50X or even a 100X during this bull-run.''
It makes sense in theory, but if you think twice, it's 100% bullshit.
The reasons:
1) Just see what is happening right now. XRP managed to move over $100B in one month. In less than a month, HBAR managed to went from 1.5B to 11B marketcap. And those are not the only cases, those are not exceptions. They didn't have any problem to receive billions and billions of dollars, it's not so hard when you are a huge coin, don't trust that math bullshit. Money attracts money, the larger the coin, more money it tends to move. The smaller the coin...the biggest is the tendency to have a shameful $50k volume per day.
The Top 100 coins (only billionaire coins here) have been much more profitable than smaller coins. Even considering memecoins into this account. Micro caps and small coins are not reliable, many of them just died, some crashed 95-99% in last six months and they are still struggling to recover. Meanwhile, the old guys investing in XRP and ADA are making such a good money recently...and almost risk-free, because those coins are not bullshit, they won't die overnight like your typical bullshit microcoin.

2) Large caps receive attention first. You won't see the money flowing from BTC directly to a random $3M marketcap coin. Definitely not. The money is going into ETH and other large caps. Meanwhile, small caps are just cucking around, watching large caps grow like crazy. Because large caps are reputable, trustworthy and they are easily available, you can buy them even in banking apps, lmao. Meanwhile, if you want to buy those micro shitcoin you need an account in a shady exchange or buy it on Uniswap with fees, convert coin and other stuff, a mess for an average investor. When they start to grow, they will be available in a decent exchange and normal people (not crypto freaks) will potentially buy them much easier.

3) Those huge altcoins (with at least $300M marketcap) are funded by reputable investors. They are not playing around. Not only investors, but they also have a strong, real and active community, not only bots and fake profiles shilling, they have real volume, they don't need those trading volume bots that make some microcaps look like active and alive, but 90% of their volume are just botted. Their communities are literally millions of people, not hundreds of freaks complaining about how their money was burnt in that microshit in four months, lmao
Most people who promotes those micro caps are influencers and pseudo-gurus telling shit, they just want to convince you to buy those random coins instead of the most reliable ones and keep holding them while they sell. They need sheep, they need exit liquidity.
So, when to buy those micro or small caps? Definitely not now. Alt season is only starting and those micro coins are going nowhere for a few months. They are at the end of the line. When all narratives and all Top 100 (and even Top 200-300) coins finally made a 5X-20X, then you can finally buy some micro shit with caution, because then the money will finally start flowing into them, because they have already flowed into the larger and mid cap coins. Holding micro and small cap coins right now is a waste of time, money and potential. But in a few months (3-6 meses from now, probably), it may worth it. Until then, it's bullshit and they are just trying to convince you to waste money and time being their exit liquidity.
